As an organisation Save the Children engages with news media advocacy on a sustained basis, hence it was imperative that key senior staff be well-equipped to understand and engage with news media effectively. Michel has run two media based workshops for me. The first providing practical training for NGO staff who might have to interact with and be interviewed by the media in the course of their work, the second was for NGO professionals who would have a responsibility for managing the NGO media strategy in case of a crisis response.
